FULL DAY GOLDEN HORN AND MINIATURK 
(OPERATED ON PRIVATE BASIS ONLY - Except Wednesdays)
 

Depart the hotel in the morning and drive to the "Golden Horn", the horn shaped fiord dividing the Eurpean side of Istanbul into two "Old city and New city". The Golden Horn got this name due to the golden color it gets during sunset and its horn shape. The Golden Horn was one of the most popular picnic and promenade areas during the Otoman Empire days of Istanbul. We will start our visit with the "St. Savior in Chora" church, which is famous with its frescoes and mosaics of the 13th. Century. After Chora church continue to Sultan Suleyman the Magnificient Mosque built by the famous architect Sinan and which one of his masterpiece. Lunch in a typical Turkish/Ottoman restaurant. After lunch drive to Miniaturk, visit the park in which there are more than 100 architectural works all over Turkey together with some important historical architectures outside of Turkey. All those works are miniatures of the originals, built in scale of 1/25. When visited you have an idea about those places as if you have visited all. After the visit drive back to the hotel and end of the tour.
